Hi grandad I always think of u and I tried to find you when I came to Devon on holiday I got so close you rang me on the phone and said we should meet I hope you are flying high with the angels I am so sad we didn't meet I wanted nothing more than to reconnect with u rest in peace grandad. To me my dad was a quiet, caring independent and proud family man. To others he was cheery, jolly, helpful and a real gent. In the weeks leading up to his passing and just after, many many people from all walks of life said to me, what a lovely man, such a lovely man. I am proud ‘PROUD’ that that lovely man is my dad. Miss you so much dad but you’ll be enjoying having a cuppa with mum looking down on us all 💙

Been thinking for a while of something to write which would show everyone just how amazing you are. But it seems that the love and happy memories you gave me, were also given to others. It shows just how selfless you were. Thank you for supporting me and always being there. You have no idea how much it means to me, I will truly miss you and I promise to tell my little our amazing memories.
